Hi, I’m Hayley, a mama, empath, storyteller, and the heart behind Hayley & Co Photography.
I’ve always been drawn to the quiet, powerful moments that often go unseen. The squeeze of a hand, a deep exhale, a tear slipping down a cheek as new life enters the world. As a mother myself, I know how transformative birth is. It’s not just the arrival of a baby, it’s the birth of you, too.
Why Birth Photography?
My journey into birth photography began from a deep place of respect for women and the sacredness of bringing life into the world. I believe birth is raw, wild, beautiful, and completely life-changing and it deserves to be remembered exactly as it unfolds.
I bring calm, grounding energy into the birth space, holding it with deep respect, intuition, and presence. My clients often tell me they barely noticed I was there, yet when they look at their photos, they feel everything all over again. That’s the magic I’m here for.
When I’m not documenting birth stories, you’ll find me barefoot at the beach with my husband and little ones, out with family friends, sipping matcha, or out to brunch with my girlfriends. I’m deeply spiritual and sensitive to energy, which I believe allows me to truly feel the rhythm of your birth and photograph it with honesty and heart.
Whether your birth unfolds gently in your lounge room, powerfully in a birth pool, or unexpectedly in theatre, I’m here to honour your journey exactly as it is. Your birth matters. And your story is worth remembering.
